Beatrice's expression here sums up how I feel.

Just going to put my heart out here so bear with me for this post’s craziness.

Well first off. I may not have shown it in any of my preceding blogposts. But I am a very depressed person….or atleast a person who gets depressed easily. DON’T WORRY I WONT BORE YOU WITH DETAILS.  I am making this post to UN-depress myself.

Im never motivated enough to do a blog post, and I always see my fellow bloggers do somewhat long and somewhat serious and philosophical blog posts. And so I will just write my thoughts down. Including anime, emotions, and life

March 29, 2009
The only reason you are getting this post is cause Rosa looks good.

The only reason you are getting this post is cause Rosa looks good.

We finally got a very nice update on the Umineko anime. Particularly how the Ushiromiya family and their servants will look.

I decided to only do the leading ladies for the sake of convenience.

Toradora reaches new levels of awesome

January 24, 2009

TaigaVSumire

Screenshots don’t show enough awesome, watch it here.

If only there were more fights animated like this.
I’ve been enjoying Toradora (I had been looking forward to the anime ever since I read the manga).
J.C. staff needs to take the team they used for Toradora and use them more.

In relation to the eroge blog community… (NSFW)

She's sitting on her throne....waiting for me.

She's sitting on her throne....waiting for me.

M3rryweather and Hemisphere fight over which bishoujo they get in their harem (a recent fight is here NSFW). It is very much an inside joke.
So I’ve decided to join in on it, particularly after finding out that Hemi has been playing Ikusa Megami ZERO (a game which I have shown my love for). So I have decided to get a jump on Hemi before he claims any beautiful ladies from the game.

So…… HAISHERA’S MINE HEMI! GET ONE OF THE OTHER DEMON OUJO-SAMA FOR YOURSELF BUT HAISHERA’S MINE.

So either…..he will not care at all. Or he will care a bit. Either way this was a very fun post. He hasn’t finished the game yet.

Alittle more after the jump (a slightly intimate shot)

January 13, 2009

Well since I’ve only posted on White Album (which I don’t think I will watch a second episode of). So I better just sum up everything here.
Along with all the shows of 2008 that I need to finish:

White Album – quick episode 1 review

January 5, 2009
DETERMINED LOOK!

DETERMINED LOOK!

Well. This is the second 2009 anime I’ve begun.

Let’s get something down on the table.

Texhnolyze (ie. very depressing anime) + Kanon (the galge factor) + Hantsuki (real life aspect) = White Album

This is my first impression of course. But I can foresee the show maintaining this feel.
The show already breaks your mind by throwing a dream sequence at you coupled with odd sound effects.
The protagonist doesn’t do much. Infact he can’t even say a few words to his female friend for the first half of the episode.

The depressing nature of the show is kept by a few factors
1. The sky is always grey
2. People are jerks
3. Music is uneventful
4. Sad bicycle riding girl is sad
5. The economy doesn’t look to be doing well in 1986

However Nana Mizuki’s character (pictured, also if you don’t know who Nana Mizuki is please lift your head out from under your table) managed to make the first episode interesting by existing as the only character who looks like she has *GASP* sympathetic traits, also she has a determined look unlike anyone else in the show who has SAAAAAD expressions on.

The show ended on a extraordinarily creepy note in which there was a lot of sinister laughing. It was creepy cause it was unexpected and also I couldn’t figure out what the hell it was for.

So yeah that’s White Album a very depressing show with a no-animation opening. Let’s see how it turns out.

This image is relevant in some way I bet. It's from Rozen Maiden. So just don't complain ok?

Well reviewing 2008 is hard for me cause I can’t really remember all that I watched. Also I failed to finish alot of the shows. But from what I remember.

Watchings – November 12

November 13, 2008

The regular. More sarcasm this time though

ef ~a tale of melodies~: Still been good. The developments have been nice. Though the two story in one series thing never ceases to somewhat annoy me cause I usually want it to focus on only one of the stories (Mizuki’s and Kuze’s, though Yuu and Yuuko’s is not bad….cept I wish Yuu would stop being an emotionless dick and actually say something nice once in a while, but that;s his character)

Kannagi: Regular love comedy. Don’t really get exicted over it. Though I guess it’s worth noting that has made me laugh abit.

Tales of the Abyss: Surprisingly fun. While kind of slow of a series, it still manages to grab me in some way. Overall it’s presentation (too no one’s surprise) is like a videogame (because it is based off one of the same name). So as a good videogame should, it has good characters with decent development, but what’s this? A protagonist you want to shut up half the time? Yes it does have one. Despite this, I’ll continue to watch this because it has Yukana (yay!) and a couple other good voices. And I don’t hate the story. Side note: the opening is damn long (ok well 30 seconds more than usual openings, it’s pretty good aswell.

To Aru Majutsu no Index: Only finished 2 episodes. I’t skind of ackward in it’s long explanations between action (which flowed much better in the manga I felt). Not alot of other people are happy about the slow nature. Im still pondering on whether or not I shoudl watch it some more.

Toradora!: Staying good. It’s making me laugh more than anything else this season. People are calling on the cliche development, but it doesn’t bother me. It’s fun. And hearing any of the female characters change their sweet tones of voice to punkish ones (at the drop of a hat) is great

Casshern Sins: I didn’t like the first episode much, particularly because I’m a bitch about presentation and the first episode didn’t leave much to me. But I decided to keep with it cause the atmosphere was damn awesome (and I noticed a really cool action scene from an episode I hadn’t seen), and that motivated me to keep watching.

Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka: Sort of watching. Yet I don’t feel it’s particularly exciting (well it shouldn’t really cause it;s the usual love comedy). But I haven’t lost motivation to watch it.

Macademi WAsshoi: The show I should probably stop watching before my brain falls into the abyss of insanity. This is like Kyouran Kazoku Nikki (which didn’t really turn out well, despite loving the craziness of the first episode). Cept it doesn’t really lose itself in dumb drama (which is very nicely consistent, unlike KKN) I’m sticking around for the two good side characters (one being a kemomimi-dog-maid played by Kawasumi Ayako).  Otherwise it’s just fanservice with odd art and wierd magic effects, though id o find myself laughing alittle at the fetish jokes.

Clannad ~After Story~: It’s alright, as the first Clannad was. I thought the first story arc was….odd. Cause it didn’t make much sense to me that Sunohara’s little sister felt that she had to help out her brother so much. I will probably see this to the end whether I like it or not. Also why do I find the shota to be the most beautiful character in the whole series so far?
Yozakura Quartet: Erm….haven’t gotten past episode 1. But I have been listening to the opening everyday, which has only served to soldify my stance on it being the most emotional openign this season. Im really pissed that I missed a chance to buy the manga, cause It’s growing on me.
