Umineko EPISODE 4 -Finished it yesterday. I can’t stress enough over how amazing Ryukishi07 is. Being able to create so many questions around incidents is incredible. I’m very much looking forward to the anime now (if you couldn’t already tell).
Eushully eroge - None of these are translated. But I’m having a blast with them.I love Hatozuki Tsumiki’s art, so that combined with understanding some of the story works out well.
Ikusa Megami Zero – RPG system is fine. Can’t complain too much,. I need to play more of it.
Himegari Dungeon Meister – You may recall I did a article on this (in which I miss-romanized lots of the names). The game is fun and hard but also very simple. It’s a strategy RPG in which you simply move characters around and attack them. You also have the option of sacrificing monsters which is very useful.
Meishoku no Reiki – I got addicted to this. Seriously, it’s very fun. I had alot of trouble, thankfully someone was kind enough to give me a save with alots of powerful units. I beat it once and got the ok ending. It’s also strategy RPG, but on a grander scale than Himegari, you control armies to conquer countries, whilst using power gained from a princess. Replaying now.
Genrin no Kishougun 2 – Took a while to figure out. This game is particularly funny in that it can summarize the difficulty of Eushully’s games to some extent. What do I mean? Other games by Eushully are just difficult, but in this game when characters die they are dead forever, you cannot even access their story sequences, they are dead for real. Thankfully, using an awesome memory editor I’ve been able to set my characters as invincible and give me lots of moeny (I feel particularly proud of this, cause I was only able to do stuff to Touhou earlier).
Manga – Should have mentioned it earlier, But Ubel Blatt is kickass, go read it if you haven’t. Also Kouta Hirano (creator of Hellsing) has a new series Drifters it’s pretty awesome.
Purchases – Bought a bunch of new pencils. Particularly a lead-holder from Staedtler. Also a book by Guy Delisle (a Canadian comic artist) I really like his work.
Anime – Phantom has had it’s WHAM episode. Valkyria Chronicles had an episode which showed the Imperial side of things. Saki is starting to get into the interesting matches (featuring Hajime, the girl with restraints on her arms). I should catch up with Eden…
